ANTA Sports Donates RMB50 million to Henan

Demonstrating the Olympic Spirit and Navigating through Difficult Times with the Victims

Hong Kong, 29 July 2021 – On the back of the recent severe rainstorm in Henan Province, ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020.HK) announced that the company had donated RMB50 million equivalent of cash and equipment to the Henan Charity Network to support the frontline rescue work in the affected area and help the victims resume a normal life as soon as possible.

Henan Province experienced the most severe rainstorm since meteorological records began. More than 9.357 million people have been suffered among 137 counties and cities, as well as 1,373 towns. In Zhengzhou City, the capital of the province, many deaths and serious injuries were caused by the extreme deluge. In Henan province, more than 814,900 people have been urgently evacuated and over 1,141,100 people relocated. The number of people in need of emergency assistance has reached 444,100.

As a model corporate citizen, ANTA Sports has spared no efforts in contributing to the community charity, lending a hand to different stakeholders in the society. ANTA Sports has donated cash, equipment and materials equivalent to RMB50 million in total to Henan Charity Network to support the frontline rescue work in the affected area and helping people in the affected areas to rebuild their lives as soon as possible. ANTA Sports has also granted access to the "Hemu Charity Fund" for affected staff and their family members in Henan to provide assistance and relieve their concerns.

Meanwhile, ANTA Sports has been included in the Hang Seng New Consumption Index recently launched by Hang Seng Indexes Company. ANTA Sports is one of the top 10 constituents with a weighting of 4.71%. The Hang Seng New Consumption Index covers Hong Kong-listed Greater China companies and captures the full picture of listed companies in both traditional and online consumption sectors. The new index offers onshore and offshore investors an investable way to capture opportunities arising from China's consumption upgrade and make informed decisions about the cross-market allocation of their assets.
