ANTA Sports’ Brand Awareness and ESG Achievements Once Again Receive Market Recognition
ANTA Named as One of BrandZ’s Top 10 Most Valuable Apparel Brands 2021 for the First Time and ESG Care Label Accreditation
Hong Kong, 29 June 2021 – ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020.HK) is pleased to announce that ANTA has been named as one of Kantar BrandZTM’s Top 10 Most Valuable Apparel Brands 2021, the first time that ANTA has been ranked on the list, reflecting the Group’s excellent brand value and its brand awareness.
The list was announced by Kantar Millward Brown, an international market consulting agency. Kantar pointed out in the assessment results that ANTA’s ranking is due to its success in the Chinese market, noting that it has taken advantage of the boom in the fitness industry over the past few years. The list tracks a total of 17,500 brands in 51 markets around the world, of which a total of 18 Chinese brands were on the list. Among them, as the leading Chinese sporting goods company, ANTA stood out and ranked eighth in the apparel category with a brand value of USD3 billion. This indicates the wide recognition in the market of the importance of the leisure sports trend.
Furthermore, ANTA Sports was recently offered an accreditation of “ESG Care Label ” at the ESG Recognitions Ceremony 2021. The ceremony was jointly co-organized by the UNESCO HK Association Global Peace Centre, the SocietyNext Foundation and the Hong Kong & Macau Chapter of the Rotary Group. The event seeks to honor companies or organizations that have an excellent performance in ESG and were devoted to developing and building a sustainable future.
