ANTA Sports Wins Five Distinguished Honours in HKIRA Investor Relations Awards

(Hong Kong, 30 September 2020) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or “the Company”, stock code: 2020) is pleased to announce that the Company has won five distinguished honours in the Investor Relations Awards 2020 by the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (“HKIRA”). This is the sixth consecutive year that the Company has been named winner of this award.
Among these, ANTA Sports was honoured as the “Best IR Company”. Mr. Ding Shizhong, Chairman and CEO of ANTA Sports, was recognized as “Best IR Chairman/CEO (Large Cap)”. In addition, Mr. Lai Shixian, the Executive Director and CFO of ANTA Sports, received the “Best IR by CFO” award, and Ms. Suki Wong, Senior Investor Relations Director of ANTA Sports, was awarded the “Best IRO”. ANTA Sports’ IR team was bestowed with the “Best IR Team” for the second year in a row. A total of 679 qualified voters and 311 qualified voting institutions voted for 43 winners in each group. A total of 168 listed companies contended for different awards. The awards have received extensive recognition in the investor relations sector.
On the other hand, ANTA Sports was recently named the "Most Outstanding Company in Hong Kong - Consumer Discretionary Sector" for the first time in the Asiamoney Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll 2020. More than 888 fund managers, buy-side analysts, rating agencies and bankers voted for the winner of this award. They voted together based on the company’s overall performance including its financials, management team, investor relations activities and corporate social responsibility initiatives. With more than 4,600 votes, covering listed companies across 12 markets in Asia, a total of 140 companies were selected as the "Most Outstanding Company” in their respective industry and market.
In addition, riding on its successful acquisition of Amer Sports in 2018/19, ANTA Sports was a finalist in the SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific 2020 and was presented with “Certificates of Excellence” in the award category of “Capital Markets Communications”. SABRE Awards is short for “Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation & Engagement”, in which the contestants are evaluated by a jury of more than 60 industry leaders. It attracts approximately 5,000 projects from 60 countries around the globe and is one of the most important awards in the industry.
