ANTA Sports to Donate Additional RMB 600 Million in the Next Three Years to Upgrade its "ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project", Six Million Teenagers to Benefit

Hong Kong, 22 September 2020 – ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020.HK, and its subsidiaries, collectively known as the “Group”), is pleased to announce that it has joined hands with the China Youth Development Foundation and the ADream Foundation to host a launching ceremony for ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project 2.0 at the School of Lada Village of Butuo County, in the Liangshan Prefecture of Sichuan Province. ANTA Sports will donate an additional RMB 600 million in the next three years to continue work with the China Youth Development Foundation and the ADream Foundation in implementing the upgrading of the ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project to its 2.0 version. The project will conduct comprehensive improvements to sports charity and quality-oriented education, covering six million teenagers in less developed areas.

During the ceremony, ANTA Sports announced the set-up of the “Athlete Professional Committee of ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project” (“Athlete Professional Committee”). In addition, the Group invited renowned athletes, Zhang Hong and Zou Shiming, to be the members of the Athlete Professional Committee, as well as charity ambassadors of Sturdy Growth Charity Project. ANTA Sports expects to have more athletes joining the committee, to jointly develop sports education projects for teenagers in less developed areas to encourage them achieving their dreams through champion spirit of “Keep Moving”, to jointly promote further development of the “Sturdy Growth Charity Project” by facilitating the integration of sports and charity resources.

On July 10, 2017, ANTA Sports, China Youth Development Foundation and ADream Foundation jointly launched the "ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project" to provide practical and effective assistance to youth education. Up to now, the program has donated more than RMB 200 million to primary and secondary school students in less developed areas across the country, encompassing nearly 1 million young people in more than 3,000 schools in China, and 700 front-line physical education teachers have received training. The Group pledges to strengthen the development of public charitable affairs and develop the "Sturdy Growth Charity Project 2.0", which will position ANTA Equipment, ANTA Sports Classes, ANTA Dream Center, ANTA Stadium and ANTA Sports Camp within the main framework promoting the development of China's physical education initiatives.
