ANTA Sports celebrates the third year of the “ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project"
Accumulative total of more than RMB233 million in investments to help youngsters from China thrive
Hong Kong, 20 July 2020 – ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020.HK, and its subsidiaries, collectively the “Group”), is pleased to announce that the “ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project", which was established with the China Youth Development Foundation and the ADream Foundation, is entering its third year. The Project reflects the traditional Chinese belief uphold by ANTA, “If advanced to dignity, make the whole kingdom virtuous as well”, as well as the Group’s charitable work and great love in its corporate and social responsibilities.
Over the past three years, the “ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project" has set up a special foundation for three core areas, including building the “ADream Centers", providing the “ANTA ADream Sports Courses" and donating “ANTA Sports equipment". These projects continually donate cash and equipment to help teenagers in underdeveloped regions to improve their physical and intellectual wellbeing.
As of June 2020, the “ANTA Sturdy Growth Charity Project" has contributed more than RMB233 million, benefiting nearly 1 million students from 3,257 schools in 31 provinces. ANTA has donated over RMB200 million worth of sports equipment, built 100 ADreams Centers, trained 628 first class physical education teachers, and brought “Fun Game Sports Day” to 215 primary schools.
