ANTA Sports announces partnership with World Wildlife Fund Committed to Protect Wildlife and Ecosystem, Help with Global Sustainable Development
Hong Kong, 30 March, 2020 – ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020.HK, and its subsidiaries, collectively the “Group”), a leading sportswear company in China, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Beijing Representative Office of the World Wildlife Fund (Switzerland) (“WWF”) to explore and build long-term partnerships and promote the environmental protection concept “Moving to Nature”. The Group will collaborate with WWF to empower the conservation of wildlife and global biodiversity as well as sustainable development of the industry.
Looking forward, ANTA Sports will work together with WWF to build up the global standard and platform for the sustainable development of the textile industry. Supporting research and development of environmentally friendly sporting goods as well as activities for development of environmental protection to achieve harmonious coexistence of mankind and nature in future. As the chief public welfare partner of WWF, ANTA Sports actively engaged in the “Earth Hour” campaign. In addition to switching off unnecessary lights and energy-consuming appliances for an hour, we also partnered with star athletes to promote the sustainable lifestyle of “Live with Nature, Speak for Nature”. By sending out messages to consumers and employees on different channels, the Company hopes to take part in achieving global sustainable development.
