ANTA Sports Wins Accolades at “China ESG Golden Awards 2019” and InnoESG Prize 2019
ANTA Sports Also Launches its First Graphene Apparel Product

Hong Kong, 9 December 2019 – ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020.HK, and its subsidiaries collectively the “Group”) is pleased to announce that it has won accolades at “China ESG Golden Awards 2019” and InnoESG Prize 2019 respectively due to the Group’s intensive efforts in social responsibility and sustainable development. ANTA Sports is the only Chinese sportswear company to receive awards in InnoESG Prize 2019 campaigns.

Hosted by Sina Finance, China ESG Golden Awards 2019 recognizes enterprises and institutions with an excellent track record in terms of environmental, social and governance (ESG) in China. The organizer pointed out that in the area of corporate governance, in order to optimize the operating effectiveness, Anta Sports focuses on establishing communication channels with different divisions, integrating feedback for relevant departments after analyzing their opinions. The Group also proactively researches and improves its day-to-day operations as well as focuses on staff training to heighten their sense of responsibility. Meanwhile, InnoESG Prize 2019 showcased ANTA’s outstanding performance in ESG. It also acknowledges the efforts of awarded enterprises for their contribution to sustainable development. InnoESG Prize 2019 is jointly hosted by various enterprises, including the SocietyNext Foundation. The prize picks listed companies that have had a positive influence in ESG, recognizing and praising them for their approach towards sustainable development.

Separately, in terms of technological R&D, ANTA has worked together with the Graphene Industry and Engineering Research Institute of Xiamen University to successfully develop its first graphene apparel product: The A-Flame® Down Jacket Series. This makes ANTA the first Chinese sportswear brand to launch a graphene apparel product. Graphene, which is carbon in two-dimensional form, is a breakthrough in clothing materials, which can be powered by heat generated from human body and radiate far infrared rays to keep the wearer warm in freezing weather. Graphene technology can be applied to training, leisure and outdoor series, and will be expanded to other products in different brands of the Group in the future.

Ding Shizhong, Chairman and CEO of Anta Sports, said: “The effort that ANTA Sports has invested into ESG has produced a fruitful return, which has now been awarded and recognized by society. In addition, we are also pleased to see ANTA brand’s new achievement in technological R&D. These are the new breakthroughs for the Group after implementing its ‘Benchmarking in High Standard’ strategy. I firmly believe that these results will give us confidence for the future as we pursue further growth. We will continue shoulder our corporate responsibilities and forge ahead towards our goal of becoming a world-class multi-brand sportswear group.”
