ANTA Sports Enterprise Strength and Social Responsibilities Recognized by Multiple Authoritative Domestic and International Institutions
CEO Ding Shizhong Included in the “Forbes China 2018 Best CEO List”
(Hong Kong, 27 September 2018) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or “the Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading sportswear company in China, is pleased to announce that Mr. Ding Shizhong, Chairman and CEO of ANTA Sports, has been included into the newly announced “Forbes China 2018 Best CEO List”, ranking in 35th place, a significant increase of 12 places, making him the highest ranked CEO amongst Chinese sports apparel companies. The list is based on statistical analysis and industrial surveys that aim to uncover the best listed company CEOs, in recognition of their track record in making leading decisions for their enterprises over the long term.
Separately, the Company recently made it onto the “Best Regarded Companies List”, jointly compiled by Statista, the internet’s leading statistics provider, and Forbes. The survey interviewed 15,000 people from 60 countries, inviting them to comment on the top 2,000 enterprises in Forbes’ list, in order to establish which top 250 enterprises would be included in the Best Regarded Companies List in 2018. Statista’s criteria for accessing these companies includes honesty, social conduct, performance of products/services, and the companies as employers.
Not only did ANTA Sports win international acclaim, but it was also recognized for its outstanding achievements in China. On 10 September 2018, ANTA Sports was awarded “Excellent Innovation Value Award” and “Excellent Organizing Value Award” amongst China’s most valuable enterprises at “The 2nd Business Leaders Summit Forum and China’s Most Valuable Enterprise Awards Ceremony” organized by Business Management Review, a publication under China Business News which is one of the mainstream financial publications in China.
In addition, the Company also won notable awards for social responsibility. For instance, during the 3rd Summit of Corporate Social Responsibility Brand in China, ANTA Sports was included in the “Top 50 Brands of 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Brands in China”. At the 13th International Forum on Social Responsibility of China’s Enterprises and 2017 “Golden Bee CSR China Honor Roll”, ANTA Sports was award “Golden Bee – Harmonious Contribution Award”. At China’s Omni-media Annual General Meeting and 2018 Omni-media Benevolent Activities Awards Ceremony, ANTA Sports’ promotion video, “ANTA Dream Training Camp”, was named “Outstanding Benevolent Activities Promotion Video”.
In terms of corporate and social responsibility disclosure, ANTA Sports also won the “2018 Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (Large Cap Sector)” in September, recognizing ANTA Sports outstanding performance in Environmental, Social and Governance, and setting it apart as an example of how to conduct sustainable development business operations. This award was presented by specialist ESG consultancy Alaya Consulting, and supported by various finance industry organizations including The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies.
