ANTA Sports’ Number of Stores Reached 6,000th Milestone

New Store in Guangzhou Marked Strengthened Retail Network

(10 May 2009 - Hong Kong), ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or "the Group", stock code: 2020) is pleased to announce the opening of 6,000th store in Guangzhou today.

The store is strategically located in Passageway, Beijing Road (北京路步行街), the core commercial district of Guangzhou. Situated in the heart of the busiest area in Guangzhou, the new store showcases a wide range of ANTA Sports' products. To highlight the significance of the occasion, a specially designed plate will be placed at the door of the store as an emblem of new page of ANTA Sports' retail network development.

Mr Ding Shizhong, Chairman and CEO of ANTA Sports, said "The opening of our 6,000th store truly marks a significant milestone in the development of ANTA Sports and has broadened our retail network in Southern China. We will continue to strengthen our nationwide retail network with a focus on opening larger stores in prime-location and further enhance the image and size of existing stores."

The store opening comes just two days ahead of the May 12 Sichuan earthquake a year ago. In commemorating the victims and conveying the message of hope, ANTA Sports has put up a signing board outside the Guangzhou store with the aim of collecting 6,000 signatures, the same number as ANTA Sports' stores, to lend support to the quake survivors.

In a show of support to mark the occasion, the CBA Guangdong Dongguan Bank Team ("广东东莞银行队"), a CBA champion for five years, was invited to the opening ceremony. The CBA stars will play games and interact with their fans to celebrate the winning of this year's title of the CBA championship.
