ANTA Sports 2010 Q4 Trade Fair Achieved Remarkable Results with Stronger Growth Momentum in Orders
Sustainable growth in both order book and ASP - A wider range of winter sportswear and COC licensed products to be launched
(Hong Kong, 2 June 2010) ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce the remarkable results of its 2010 Q4 Trade Fair held in May. Thanks to its strong brand reputation and product differentiation, the order book value placed at the trade fair grew more than 25% from the same period of last year, while the ASP for both footwear and apparel rose more than 5%. Apart from better product mix in Q4, the growth in ASP was also attributable to the adoption of waterproof and stain repellent materials and fabrics as well as the application of thermal insulation and winter friendly technologies, including Outlast® and 3M ThinsulateTM, to enhance the functionality and design of products which fit in with consumers' demand in winter.
During the trade fair, the Company showcased the latest COC licensed products designated for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games. It is expected that a wider range of the COC licensed products will be launched in the fourth quarter together with large-scale promotional campaigns, so as to offer a platform for consumers to experience the passion of the Asian Games and ultimately drive ANTA Sports' brand association with the COC during the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games in November.
