ANTA Sports Ranked 21st on Forbes 2010 Most Valuable China Brands

(Hong Kong, 12 July 2010) ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that for the first time the Company was ever listed on Forbes' "2010 China's Most Valuable Brands Top 50" list and ranked 21st.
On 6 July, Forbes China partnered with Interbrand, a global brand consulting company, announced the "2010 China Most Valuable Brands" in Beijing, identifying enterprises with promising long term competitiveness. The list analyzed Chinese public companies' financial performance, brand influence and brand assets, in order to recognize companies with the highest brand values.
The Committee considers that ANTA Sports has successfully established its own brand value and enhanced its product and brand differentiation through a market strategy that focuses on sports marketing. Moreover, ANTA Sports is familiar with China’s consumer market and responsive to market changes. For years ANTA Sports has enhanced its leading position in the mass market through sponsorship of sports leagues and endorsement of elite athletes. In 2009, ANTA Sports became the strategic partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee, providing outfits to the China Sports Delegation in major international competitions including the 2010 Winter Olympics. In addition, the Company sponsored five national water sports teams and endorsed the world's leading tennis players Jelena Jankovic and Zheng Jie.
