ANTA Sports 2011 Q1 Trade Fair Achieved Significant Growth in Order Book and ASP

NBA superstar Garnett's designated products made first appearance in trade fair, More diversified COC licensed products to be launched to satisfy consumers' demand

(Hong Kong, 3 September 2010) ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce the remarkable results of its 2011 Q1 Trade Fair held last month. The order book value placed at the trade fair grew more than 23% from the same period last year, while the average selling price ("ASP") for both footwear and apparel rose more than 5%. The product mix of footwear, apparel and accessories was similar to same period last year. The significant growth in orders and ASP was mainly driven by product mix optimisation as well as adoption of better fabrics and application of advanced technologies. The Company's outstanding performance in brand and distribution channel management has in turn boosted the confidence of distributors and franchisees.
NBA superstar Kevin Garnett appeared in the trade fair after signing an endorsement agreement with ANTA Sports last month. A brand new "KG" series (specially designed for Garnett) was showcased and received good response from distributors and franchisees during the trade fair. As Garnett is well recognised and popular with many basketball fans in China, ANTA will soon roll out a series of marketing events and advertising campaigns to further enhance his popularity and boost the sales of his designated products. Moreover, in order to prolong the passion of the Guangzhou Asian Games, the Company will launch a wider range of the Chinese Olympic Committee ("COC")-licensed products with better design and features, so as to drive ANTA Sports' brand association with the COC and prepare for the promotion of upcoming international events including the London 2010 Olympic Games.
