ANTA Sports Ranked 17th Best Brand in China by Interbrand

Remains Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series Constituent

(Hong Kong, 22 September 2011) ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that ANTA Sports has been ranked the 17th best brand in China by the leading brand consultancy Interbrand in the 2011 Best China Brands this year and has also been included in the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index, Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index and Hang Seng (Mainland and HK) Corporate Sustainability Index.
 
ANTA Sports is the only sportswear brand that is ranked the top 20th by Interbrand. Founded in 1974 in London, Interbrand's valuation techniques have long been recognised by regulatory bodies, business and academic circles as a strategic management tool of unique value.  Based on financial data independently audited by a third party, industry-specific studies and market data, the brand valuations provide a benchmark for Chinese enterprises in the development of their brands. The Best China Brands report also establishes a systematic approach to the growth of Chinese brands.
 
The aims of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability index series are to raise awareness of corporate sustainability (which encompasses performance in environmental, social and corporate governance) and to serve increasing international interest in sustainable investment. Being the only sportswear company selected in the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index and the Hang Seng (Mainland and HK) Corporate Sustainability Index reflects the Company’s devotion in all aspects of environmental, social and corporate governance.
