ANTA Sports Wins Six Awards at IR Magazine Greater China Awards and Receives Recognition at "Hong Kong Proud Brands Award 2011"

(Hong Kong, 8 December 2011) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the "Company", stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that it has won “Grand Prix for Best Overall Investor Relations (Small or Mid-cap)”, together with other five awards, at the IR Magazine Greater China Conference & Awards 2011. ANTA Sports also received recognition at the “Hong Kong Proud Brands Award 2011”. The awards won by the Company are listed as follows:

IR Magazine Greater China Awards is organised annually by IR Magazine, a business media company renowned for providing quality insight and a global perspective. It aims to honour the Chinese companies and individuals that do the best job of communicating with their investors and analysts – in the opinion of the investors and analysts themselves. The winners of the IR Magazine Awards are determined by a comprehensive and independent three-month-long research process that identifies the best corporate IR teams across a range of categories. The approach is rigorous and objective at every stage. Moreover, the winners are identified in an investor perception study which this year was carried out by Mary Maude Research, the firm that performs research for IR Magazine’s US, Canada and Europe Awards.
 
About the “Hong Kong Proud Brands Award”
The “Hong Kong Proud Brands Award” was co-organised by Ming Pao and the Chinese University of Hong Kong Master of Science Programme in Marketing, which has been well-recognised in the community since it was established in 2007. It aims to promote the importance of brand building for sustainable development and enhancing competitive strength among different corporations. To determine the winner of the “Chinese Enterprise with Best Brand Potential”, a large scale study on branding was carried out by the Chinese University of Hong Kong in three major cities in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, during the period from July to September 2011. In the study, over 900 consumers in China were interviewed and were asked about for their preferences and frequent usage of corporate brands.
