ANTA Sports ranked first in terms of market share in China’s sportswear sector for 11th consecutive year

(Hong Kong, 28 March 2012) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that the Company has once again been ranked first in the composed index on market share in China under the “2011 (The 20th) Retail Consumption Statistical Analysis” for the 11th consecutive year. This accolade not only underscores ANTA Sports’ leadership position in the industry and its strong brand equity, but also provides great impetus for the sustainable development of the Company.
 
The “China Retail Consumption Statistical Analysis” has been conducted by the China General Chamber of Commerce and the China National Commercial Information Centre in the past 12 years. ANTA Sports has been able to rank the first in terms of market share for the 11th consecutive years. This achievement not only demonstrates our brand and products are well-received by consumers, but also proves the innovative and R&D abilities of the Company. The statistics analysis is a comprehensive market survey on more than 5,000 major retail enterprises nationwide. By measuring their market share and business coverage, the survey provides a clear picture of the consumer industry. In addition to being a leading constituent company of the index for 11th consecutive years, ANTA Sports was also named the “Most Influential Brand”.
