2012 London Olympics Come to a Close; Chinese Sports Delegation Makes Triumphant Return

Winning Athletes Receive Honours Wearing ANTA's "Champion Dragon Outfit"; Greatly Enhancing ANTA's Brand Exposure and Brand Desirability

(Hong Kong, August 16, 2012,) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”; stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that the 2012 London Olympic Games (“London Olympics”) came to a successful close on the evening of 12th August (local time). The Chinese Sports Delegation (“CSD”) won 38 gold medals, their best overseas showing to date, surpassing their 32 gold medals haul from the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Meanwhile, China ranked second both in the number of gold medals and the overall medal tally. As the strategic partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee (“COC”) and the CSD, ANTA Sports designed the “Champion Dragon Outfit” for the Chinese Olympic athletes, and is proud of the them for delivering their best results ever.

The CSD achieved remarkable results in a number of competitions. After winning the events, medal winners wore the “Champion Dragon Outfit” and visited the “Home of China” set up by the COC. They were congratulated by the local and overseas media there, which widely and effectively promoted ANTA’s brand culture and further enhanced its image of the “representative of China’s sports industry”. ANTA Sports held a celebratory event at the “Home of China” for YI Siling, after she won the first gold medal of the London Olympics with a score of 502.9 in the women’s 10m air rifle shooting event. CHEN Ruolin, who won the gold medal in the women's 10m platform diving event, also visited the “Home of China” to celebrate the 200th gold medal in Chinese Olympic history. Meanwhile, ANTA Sports custom-made three sets of the “200th Gold Medal Edition of the Champion Dragon Outfit” to celebrate the new milestone in China’s Olympic history, which also marked China’s new starting point of moving towards becoming a strong sports country in the world.
