ANTA Sports Receives Recognition on its Brand and Products

ANTA Sports Signs Endorsement Contract with Two-time Olympic Boxing Gold Medalist Zou Shiming, Also Ranked First in Terms of Market Share in China’s Travel and Sports Shoes Sector for 12th Consecutive Year

(Hong Kong, 3 April 2013) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that the Company has signed an endorsement contract with Zou Shiming, two-time Olympic boxing gold medalist. ANTA Sports endeavors to support Zou Shiming to enter kick start his first match in the professional boxing career and joins hands to showcase the power of China in international professional boxing events. Meanwhile, ANTA Sports ranked the top seller of travel and sports shoes in China for the 12th consecutive year, which illustrates our prominent recognition by consumers in China.

Having captured two gold medals and one bronze medal at the Olympic Games, along with gold medals in the several World Amateur Championships, Zou Shiming, a light flyweight, is a legendary Olympic athlete and one of the most outstanding figures on the international boxing scene. At age 32, Zou is now taking the next step towards achieving his boxing dream - entering the ranks of professional boxers. Zou will make his professional boxing debut in Macau on 6 April, where he will put his unique Chinese martial arts-based “Pirate Style” boxing skills on full display for the world to see, and to demonstrate the “Never Give Up” spirit inherent in Chinese people. ANTA Sports will support Zou Shiming in achieving further success in the ring through a comprehensive range of sponsorship activities and the impressive marketing resources. In addition, ANTA Sports plans to enrich its cross training products by launching a brand new boxing training product series which is to be endorsed by Zou Shiming.

Meanwhile, ANTA Sports ranked first in terms of market share in China’s Travel and Sports Shoes for the 12th time on the “2012 (The 21st) China Retail Consumption Statistical Analysis” press conference held by the China General Chamber of Commerce and the China National Commercial Information Centre. The statistics analysis is a comprehensive market survey on over thousands of major retail enterprises nationwide. By measuring their market share and business coverage, the survey provides a clear picture of the consumer industry, and is considered to be highly credible and authoritative in China.
