ANTA Sports Sponsors Olympic Day Run for Eighth Consecutive Year, Igniting a Passion for Health and Wellbeing in summer

Intelligent Sportswear and APP Improves Running Experience

(Hong Kong, 24 June 2016) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading sportswear company in China, is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the 30th Olympic Day Run (“Olympic Day Run”) for the eighth consecutive year in partnership with the Chinese Olympic Committee (“COC”). This year’s Olympic Day Run was held simultaneously in cities across China, including Beijing, Xiamen and Guangzhou etc, in a bid to encourage the general public to take up running. Meanwhile, ANTA Sports has launched the ANTA Intelligent Technology Plan in cooperation with top technology company Foxconn, introducing new features such as the ANTA running time APP ("APP") and ANTA Intelligent Running Shoes. These products accurately monitor runners’ movements in order to provide consumers with an enhanced running experience.

The APP connects with a chip in the ANTA Intelligent Running Shoes via Bluetooth. Besides basic functions including GPS positioning, distance recording, time, pace and energy consumption, the APP also provide six analysis of monitoring running postures such as feet striking, stride analysis, pronation and supination, time diagrams, force analytics and height from the ground. These functions will be able to reduce the runner’s chance of getting hurt and improve performance. The APP works like a runner’s professional trainer, aiming to help beginners adopt key running techniques and ensuring runners get their first step right. 

Meanwhile, the ANTA Intelligent Running Shoes showcase an innovative new design which uses the latest A-WEB technology that ensures a better fit and breathability. The shoe sole has adopted cutting edge A-SILO technology to reduce stress on the runner’s feet and to provide a cushioning effect. The chip being installed in the ANTA Intelligent Running Shoes, can timely collecting different types of running statistics. At a retail price of RMB 369, the ANTA Intelligent Running Shoes allow consumers to enjoy a high-tech sports experience at an affordable cost. To bring the high tech sports experience to the next level, ANTA’s intelligent sportswear and APP has sought to be innovative by embedding mobile internet elements into a traditional sports product.
