ANTA Signs Legendary Boxer Manny Pacquiao
Ramps up Focus on Cross Training and Boxing Market
(Hong Kong, 3 November2016) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or “the Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading sportswear brand in China, is pleased to announce that legendary Filipino boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, who is the first and only professional boxer to win world boxing titles in eight different weight categories, has become ANTA’s latest brand endorser. In attendance at the signing ceremony held at Las Vegas on 2 November was Zou Shiming, China’s boxing champion and another ANTA endorser.

The signing of this agreement is a major step forward for the ANTA training series. Having already made progress in the world of basketball and running, this latest partnership will serve as an engine for growth for the brand’s training products, which have become more popular as interest in combined training methods has grown. In anticipation of growth in this sector, ANTA has already starting cooperating with Chinese boxers, such as Zou Shiming and Yang Lianhui. Pacquiao will be the firm’s latest advocate as it seeks to develop its presence in this sporting segment.
