ANTA Sports receives Two International Recognitions and is awarded an Environmental Friendly Label - Renowned in Investor Relations, Corporate Governance, Innovative Design and Environmental Friendly Practices
(Hong Kong, 23 December 2016) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or “the Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading sportswear brand in China, is pleased to announce that ANTA Sports won the “2016 Best in sector: Consumer discretionary & consumer staples” at the IR Magazine Awards. At the "2016 iNOVA Awards", our investor relations website received a gold medal in the Sports category. Furthermore, in recognition of our environmental friendly practices, we were awarded the “CarbonCare® ESG Label” from "Carbon Innovation Lab". These honors reflected the fact that ANTA is well-recognised in investor relations, corporate governance, innovative design and environmental friendly practices in the industry and by the public.
Winning the “2016 Best in sector: Consumer discretionary & consumer staples” at the IR Magazine Awards, this award demonstrated our recognition on investor relations from the investment sector. The yearly evaluation results combined with preferences of investors and analysts from the US, Canada, Brail, Europe, APAC Region and Southeast Asia. In the coming future, we will continue to facilitate the tasks of investor relations and openly adopt the feedback and opinion from investors and analysts.
The awards come in the wake of the launch of ANTA’s brand new investor relations website (ir.anta.com) which incorporates the latest responsive web design. The website is now more user-friendly for investors and the public, making it easier to research our company news through computer or mobile phone. This is one of the reasons why ANTA was awarded a gold medal in the Sports category at the 2016 iNOVA Awards. We are also the only sportswear company that has been recognised for innovative website design, originality of content and operational performance. The iNOVA Awards was organised by an internationally renowned independent judging institution, MerComm, Inc., which compiled a panel of judges incorporating experts from across the globe. The aim was to judge candidates on their attempt to incorporate a global website concept, content, creativity and user friendliness which aligns with corporate strategy and goals.
ANTA was also awarded the “CarbonCare® ESG Label” from "Carbon Innovation Lab". at the "Green Finance x Climate Innovation Conference cum CarbonCare® Label 2016 Award Ceremony". The recognition was in response to the ANTA’s “2015 ESG Report”, which proved we followed international carbon emission and data collection standards. There were total of 11 institutions who acquired the “CarbonCare® ESG Label”, 10 of which were Hong Kong listed companies. ANTA is the only Hong Kong listed consumer brand company to receive the award. It was also the first time we published an ESG report which was immediately recognised by the public, a testament to the high standard of the report’s quality. We will continue to raise the standard of the report and ensure the quality of the report in the future.
