ANTA Sports leads in the S&P Global ESG Scores

Promising Results Reflect Strong Commitment to Integrating ESG into Strategic Development

Hong Kong, 29 November 2022 – ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020.HK) announced that S&P has updated the S&P Global ESG Scores for ANTA Sports that ranks the Company ahead of 87% of approximately 160 global textile, apparel and luxury brand companies, and in a leading position among its fellow global leaders.

ANTA Sports received industry-leading scores across different categories such as "Risk & Crisis Management", "Innovation Management", "Tax Strategy", "Talent Attraction & Retention", and "Privacy Protection", which were in the 90th percentile among global peers. In addition, ANTA sports achieved significant improvements in "Innovation Management", "Information Security", "Human Capital Development", "Privacy Protection" and "Talent Attraction & Retention", with scores increasing by more than 20 compared with the previous year.

The S&P Global ESG Scores, founded by S&P Global in 1999, is one of the most influential and credible corporate sustainability assessments in the world. Over 11,000 companies were invited to participate this year. The results would be used for the constituent selection of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices and other S&P Global ESG Indices.

The Company continued to enhance its governance and optimize its ESG governance structure by establishing a Board-level Sustainability Committee. ANTA Sports was also the first Chinese sportswear company to become a signatory member of the United Nations Global Compact, supporting The Ten Principles.

In addition, ANTA Sports is dedicated to injecting the concept of sustainability into supply chain management through responsible procurement and strengthening relationships with its suppliers to upgrade the industrial chain. The Company encourages its suppliers to enhance their corporate social responsibility and ESG management by making plans to incorporate ESG performance, including labor rights, human rights protection and green production etc., into our supply chain management system, targeting to reduce social and environmental risk in the entire industrial chain.
