ANTA Sports Selected as an Excellent Enterprise Case by APEC's "Sustainable China Industry Development Initiative"

Achieve Sustainability Goals through Diversified Solutions

Hong Kong SAR, 3 November 2022 – ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020.HK) announces today that ANTA Sports has been selected as an Excellent Enterprise Case by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) China Business Council's "Sustainable China Industry Development Initiative" ("Initiative") 2022 in order to advocate low-carbon consumption and lifestyle through product design and R&D innovation, as well as promoting transformation to build a sustainable value chain. The Initiative was jointly launched by APEC China Business Council and the International Cooperation Center (ICC) of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). This year, the spotlight was firmly on the green and digital economy, as well as best industry practices actuated by technological innovations that are echoing China's sustainable development model.

The report of the 20th National Congress clearly pushes for acceleration of green transformation of the development mode and advocation of green consumption. Furthermore, ANTA Sports has successfully established a Sustainable Savings Account with Standard Chartered Bank (China) Limited ("SCB(China)") and received a "Sustainable Account Certificate". As one of the first Chinese enterprises to leverage sustainable finance solutions, ANTA Sports has engaged in the financial institution's green deposits program since 2020. In addition, the Company completed the issuance of a tranche of green medium-term notes this year, with an aggregate principal amount of RMB500 million. Proceeds raised will be applied towards the construction of ANTA's Shanghai headquarters, which is set to be completed in 2024. The project promises to combine green space, energy-saving design and materials for development.

As a leading practitioner of sustainable development in China's sports industry, ANTA Sports has published ESG reports for seven consecutive years. The Company established a sustainable development committee to actively promote the "1+3+5" sustainable strategic blueprint. The report shows that in 2021, the Company continued to optimize its ESG framework and became a signatory member of the United Nations Global Compact, supporting the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact, and strengthened energy conservation, emissions reduction and environmental protection. The Group also provided more than 52,000 employees with a broad career path and healthy working environment, and was committed to the public welfare of sports development, medical care and rural revitalization together with the Hemin Foundation, which was established by the founder's family.
