Garners Seven Accolades at Institutional Investor's 2022 All-Asia Executive Team Rankings
ANTA's Skeleton Shoes Receive German Red Dot Award: Design Concept.
Hong Kong, 19 July 2022 – ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020.HK) announced that the Company was crowned in the 2022 All-Asia Executive Team rankings conducted by Institutional Investor, with first place in the "Most Honorable Company" and the overall first place for "Best CFO" in the consumer discretionary category.
In addition to the above awards, ANTA Sports also ranked overall second place for "Best CEO", "Best IR Professional", "Best IR Program", "Best IR Team" and "Best ESG" in the consumer discretionary category. These exceptional results reflect the recognition of its efforts in investor relations by the capital market.
Institutional Investor, with over 50 years of history, is an international financial magazine highly recognized by the buy-side and sell-side investors and analysts in the financial sector. This ranking is one of the most prestigious and influential benchmarks in the finance industry. This year, a total of 5,524 financial professionals participated in the survey, rating 1,612 companies across 18 sectors.
In addition, ANTA's Skeleton Shoes, which was developed for China's skeleton team, also won the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2022 in Germany. This is the second time that ANTA Sports received this award, after winning for the A-Wormhole running shoes in 2018.
In the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, ANTA tailor-made the Skeleton Shoes specifically for the Chinese winter sports team with its own technology, making it the first Chinese brand to develop Skeleton Shoes. With 12 invention patents, this pair of shoes is the first of its kind to use intelligent simulation and aerospace technology algorithms, which help reduce turbulence and wind resistance by 10%. The nitrogen technology midsole has the characteristics of low-temperature resistance and high rebound resilience. ANTA Sports also became the first in the industry to use titanium alloy 3D printed studs, which are durable yet flexible. The staggered arrangement of the studs effectively improved the athletes' propulsion during the start phase, setting a record for the fastest start on the Olympic track and successfully helping Chinese athlete Yan Wengang to win bronze in the men's skeleton event, which was China's "best-in-history" performance at the Winter Olympics.
Furthermore, the skeleton shoes are designed to be lightweight and constructed from green materials, with the upper constructed from self-developed super wear-resistant leather, which provides good folding resistance. No solvents and plasticizers are used in the production process. The midsole and insole are made of recyclable materials, such as physical supercritical foam, making the production process more environmentally friendly, cleaner and pollution free, while demonstrating the Group's commitment to sustainable development.
Organized by a German design association, the German Red Dot Award: Design Concept is one of the largest and most influential international design competitions worldwide, aiming to discover and recognize new design concepts and innovative achievements.
