ANTA Sports Launches "ANTA Forest" Forest and Landscape Recovery Project in Beijing

Joint Hands with Various Parties to Support the Low Carbon Olympic Winter Games

Hong Kong, 31 May 2021 – ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company", stock code: 2020.HK) is pleased to announce that ANTA Sports hosted the official launch ceremony of "ANTA Forest" forest and landscape recovery project ("ANTA Forest Project" or "the Project") at Imperial Ming Tombs Forest Farm in Beijing. In order to protect biodiversity in the area, the Company plans to perform forest and landscape ecosystem restoration work at numerous farms, as well as provide landscaping for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games (“Beijing Winter Olympics”).

Launched by ANTA Sports, “ANTA Forest Project” is jointly supported by numerous parties, including World Wild Fund (WWF) and Beijing Municipal Forestry, etc. The Project focusses on restoration of ecosystem in the forest by improving the forest structure of Imperial Ming Tombs Forest Farm and enhancing biodiversity through sustainable forest management, such as biodiversity survey and monitoring, as well as reconstruction of mixed forest habitat. Furthermore, the Project reconstructs the landscape and food chain of the forest through artificial intervention on natural succession of zoological and botanical species, to promote the habitat recovery of wild animals in the area, enhance the diversity of species at the farm, as well as improve the biodiversity of the farm.
