ANTA Sports Opens 10th Flagship Store in Xian

On 22 March 2009, ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or "the Group", stock code: 2020) opened its first ANTA flagship store in Xian. The store is strategically located in the heart of Dongdajie Passageway, the core commercial district of Xian. With a total sales floor area of 2,300 sq. m., it showcased the wide range of ANTA's products. The store is designed to utilize its ample and spacious inner area to provide customers with quality shopping experiences.

The opening of the flagship store is strategically significant for ANTA Sports on two levels: it is ANTA's 10th flagship store, and more importantly, the Group's first flagship store in the northwestern China. The new store marked a significant milestone of the retail network expansion in the northwestern China. Highlighting the significance of the event, the CBA Shaanxi team had joined the opening ceremony as a support for ANTA Sports.

Apart from the Xian store, the Group's distributors have opened flagship stores in a number of key cities, including Shenyang, Wuhan, Shanghai (2 stores), Beijing, Changsha, Chongqing, Xiamen and Hefei. As at the end of 2008, there are a total of 5,667 ANTA stores. Going forward, ANTA Sports will continue to strive to enhance its brand value and store image by strengthening its distribution network through opening big stores at prime locations. The Group will also further expand its distribution network to other markets with growth potential.
