ANTA Sports Wins “Outstanding Company on Corporate Governance” Award and Launches Public Welfare Project “JAS Run”

Demonstrating Strength in Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility

(Hong Kong, 27 October 2014) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that it has won the “Asia’s Outstanding Company on Corporate Governance” award, presented by Corporate Governance Asia magazine, at the “10th Corporate Governance Asia Recognition Awards – The Class of 2014”. ANTA Sports was the only domestic sportswear brand to win the award this year, implying that the Company is running ahead of other peers in corporate governance aspect; it was also commended by Corporate Governance Asia magazine for the third time since 2010 and 2013, once again demonstrating public recognition of the Company’s performance in corporate governance since its listing, and that the Company has become one of the best companies in corporate governance in Asia.

Corporate Governance Asia magazine is an authoritative publication that focuses on investor relations, social responsibility and corporate governance in the Asia Pacific region. The “Corporate Governance Asia Recognition Awards”, marking its tenth year in 2014, has the aim of recognising the continuing commitment to the development of corporate governance among companies in the region. ANTA Sports’ success in being named “Asia’s Outstanding Company on Corporate Governance” was the result of evaluation on the basis of a number of corporate governance indicators, including quality of management, business model, growth prospects, financial performance and the candidate’s relative position in its industry.

In addition to exercising good corporate governance, ANTA Sports continues to fulfill its corporate social responsibility, sparing no effort to engage in charity activities and to promote running. The “JAS Run” public welfare project, jointly sponsored by the Beijing Olympic Development Association, the Samaranch Foundation and the Company and supported by Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. (“Xiaomi”), was launched earlier in Beijing. The “JAS Run” features a combination of technology, sports and charity and aims to create a high-tech charity running platform with ANTA Sports outfits and Xiaomi bracelets so as to promote running and achieve the sports charity objective of “You Run, I Donate”. The high-tech running platform of “JAS Run” comprises four parts, namely terminal data collection, data processing center, mobile data presentation and interactive community. Participants can download a specially-developed app at which they can check their data and status as they exercise and can choose the appropriate exercise mode. Participants can also form charity running groups using the platform. Benevolent enterprises such as ANTA Sports will immediately donate products and money to the designated beneficiaries of the public welfare project when charity running groups achieve assigned mileage target.
