ANTA Sports’ Professional Gear Drives Chen Penbin To Finish “Challenge 100”

(Hong Kong, 13 July 2015) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020), a leading branded sportswear enterprise in China, is pleased to announce that renowned Chinese ultra-marathon runner Chen Penbin arrived at the 100th marathon and final finishing point of “Challenge 100” event, the Beijing Wukesong Mastercard Center, on 10 July, thereby completing his monumental feat of finishing the equivalent of 100 marathons in 100 consecutive days. The Company tailor made professional ANTA running shoes – the “Challenge 100” – for him, and they became his partner in his journey across nine provinces from Guangzhou to Beijing, spanning 4,219.54km in more than three months.

Moreover, the 29th Olympic Day Run (“Olympic Day Run”), jointly organised by the Chinese Olympic Committee and the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid Committee, with ANTA Sports acting as a supporter, was held in 11 cities - including Beijing, Xiamen, Chengdu, Hefei, Yichang, Chengde, Zhangjiakou and Xining - on 20 June. The Olympic Day Run adopted ANTA’s latest “RUN WITH ME” running strategy as its theme, with 80,000 running enthusiasts celebrating the annual Olympic Day by way of city running. Famous athletes such as Olympic gymnastics champions Zhou Kai and Zhang Chenglong, gymnastics world champion Huang Huidan and elite gymnast Chen Siyi attended the race in different cities.

ANTA Sports also integrated the Olympic Day Run with online marketing, thereby attracting more attention to and drawing greater participation in the event with support from influences of celebrities. The Company created the #RUNWITHME# hashtag for runners to arrange meetups online and for celebrities to share updates with the #RUNWITHME# hashtag and their own running stories with other runners. Apart from running experience sharing among sports enthusiasts, the celebrities also invited people who love running to participate in the “Stride over the Starting Line” activity during the Olympic Day Run.
